My beautiful niece is trying to win a sword forged by Robert Treskillard, author of The Merlin Spiral. Of course, this gave us an excuse to do a photoshoot! We took a little creative liberties and used "Morgana" as both Morgana and as the Evil Queen with an affinity for apples. Since we were putting a spin on things, we decided to use gala apples. Everyone sees a delicious red apple and they're suspicious, right? Well, what if you should fear more than red apples?! We had so much fun with this shoot. In the future maybe we'll go back for some "Snow White" shots.

This family was so sweet to work with! Scott and Wendy have so much joy and laughter that it's hard not to smile when you see them. I was so honored to get to photograph their family!

I turn over my second edited session this weekend to the wonderful Abee Family. While I wait to share a few of their images, I thought I would share a little bit of fun that I had with my three year old this week!

She is a huge Lindsey Stirling fan and we thought it would be fun to do a few images that looks like her album cover.

I had the pleasure of this sweet couple being my very first official photoshoot.



Chad and Misty had a very specific goal in mind for their photoshoot. They wanted very relaxed and natural and they wanted a lot of Christian symbolism and pictures of things that mean a lot to them.

I think my very favorite image from this shoot was, "the scarlet cord" as it holds a very powerful symbolic message of grace and redemption.

I am so blessed to have gotten to work with these two!
